The first teaser for the upcoming anime Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life has officially been released. Scheduled to air in 2026, the teaser also reveals the two main cast members who will voice protagonist Ryusei Narukami and heroine Meteor Hanaori.

The series is based on the latest manga by Hekiru Hikawa, best known for works such as Pani Poni. The manga is currently serialized in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine.
INTRODUCTION:

He spends his days holed up at home, endlessly gaming… but in another world, he was once the Demon King! One day, Meteor Hanaori appears before him—the Hero who defeated Ryusei long ago and who is now living as an ordinary high school girl. After reuniting with Meteor, Ryusei manages to reenter society, landing a job as a high school teacher at Mikenshi Girls’ High School. However, it turns out to be the very school Meteor attends!
