Key visuals and exhibitor details for the world’s largest anime event, AnimeJapan 2026, have been officially revealed. The event will take place on March 28 and 29, 2026.
Marking its 13th edition since its launch in 2014, AnimeJapan 2026 will be held across one of its largest venues to date. In addition to the East Exhibition Hall, the event will also utilize the South Exhibition Hall and the Rooftop Exhibition Area at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo.
The newly unveiled key visual brings together characters from 22 different titles, crossing the boundaries of their respective series. Featured characters include Yuru from DAEMONS OF THE SHADOW REALM, Subaru and Emilia from Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, and Hikaru Gero and Mei Kinosaki from MARRIAGETOXIN.
The illustration captures the characters in a dynamic composition, bursting with energy as if they are about to leap off the screen.

More than 120 exhibitors took part in the event, including Aniplex, KADOKAWA, TOHO animation, and Bandai Namco Filmworks. The event is also set to be the largest in its history:
Sakurazaka46 will once again serve as the ambassador for AnimeJapan 2026, marking their second year in a row.
The official YouTube channel will premiere “AnimeJapan KICKOFF 2026” on January 16 at 8:00 PM. The program will reveal the AnimeJapan stage lineup along with the latest updates. Narration will be provided by Yuki Kaji and Saori Hayami.
