Hitoshi Iwaaki’s historical manga Historie is officially getting a TV anime adaptation. The first teaser visual and teaser PV have been released, revealing the main character Eumenes for the first time. The anime will be produced by studio LIDENFILMS.

Historié is a historical manga series serialized in Monthly Afternoon (Kodansha) that chronicles the turbulent life of Eumenes, a Greek secretary who rose to prominence under Alexander the Great. The series has released 12 volumes to date, with total circulation surpassing 4.7 million copies.
