The anime Detective Conan is celebrating its 30th anniversary with several new announcements for 2026. From January 10, 2026, the show will have a new ending theme song called “TOWA ~Towa ni Kaze ni Noru~” performed by Mai Kuraki.

To mark the anniversary, Detective Conan will also release three newly announced special episodes:
- A two-hour anime-original special written by Takeharu Sakurai, the first of its kind in about a decade.
- A J.LEAGUE collaboration episode featuring Yuka Kageyama, celebrating the soccer league and her status as both a fan and a soccer enthusiast.
- A Birdman Rally collaboration episode, written by Takahiro Okura, set around the Birdman Rally event.
Broadcast dates for these special episodes have not yet been announced.

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
