The main promotional video for the TV anime Sentenced to Be a Hero has been released, alongside the announcement of additional cast members, theme songs, and broadcast and streaming details.
The series is set to premiere on January 3, 2026, with the first episode airing as a 60-minute extended special. From January 15, the anime will continue with its regular broadcast schedule. Crunchyroll will stream the series simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.
The theme song, “Kill the Noise”, will be performed by SPYAIR.

The light novel series Sentenced to Be a Hero debuted in 2021 and has since amassed five volumes as of August 2023. Published by KADOKAWA under the Dengeki no Shibungei label, the series features illustrations by MEPHISTO.
