Akira Ozaki’s “Uchi no Otouto Domo ga Sumimasen” is officially getting a TV anime adaptation scheduled for 2026. Naomi Ozora will voice Narita Ito, while Toshiki Masuda will take on the role of Narita Gen. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and teaser PV have been unveiled.

Uchi no Otouto Domo ga Sumimasen is currently serialized in the magazine Separate Volume Margaret (Shueisha), and 14 collected volumes have been released so far. Its live-action film adaptation, starring Mei Hata as Ito Narita, premiered in Japan in December 2024.
The story follows Ito, a second-year high school student whose life changes when her mother remarries. After moving into her new home, she discovers that her stepfather has four sons: the eldest Gen, the second son Raku, the third son Shu, and the youngest Rui. Overnight, Ito becomes their older sister. As she adjusts to her new family, she struggles to connect with her four stepbrothers and navigate the challenges of their blended household.
