Doraemon’s 45th Movie New “Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil” Unveils Banner Visual

The Doraemon movie’s official twitter account has unveiled a new banner visual for Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil. This banner, along with a standee using the main visual, will be displayed in Japanese theaters from December 5.

As the 45th installment in the Doraemon the Movie franchise, this new film is a modern remake, originally released in 1983. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 27, 2026 in Japan.

The original film followed Nobita, Doraemon, and friends on an adventure through the legendary underwater kingdoms of Mu and Atlantis. While details on how closely the new movie will follow the 1983 storyline remain under wraps, the main visual promise an epic oceanic journey for Doraemon fans old and new.
