Detective Conan’s 29th Anime Film Unveils Teaser Visual and April 10 Premiere

The 29th installment in the Detective Conan film series has officially been unveiled. Titled “Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway(Highway no Datenshi), the movie’s first teaser visual has been revealed today, alongside confirmation of its Japan theatrical premiere on April 10.

It has been announced that Miyuki Sawashiro will play the role of Chihaya Hagiwara. The next announcement is scheduled for December 4 (Japan time).

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan manga, known as Case Closed in English by Viz Media, debuted in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. As of October 2024, the series spans 106 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation premiered in 1996, followed by the release of the first anime film in 1997.
