The anime film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, created by Taiki Kawakami and Fuse, will feature voice performances by Koichi Domoto, Saori Onishi, and Koji Yusa. Alongside the announcement, the second key visual and a new preview video have been released.
Set to premiere in Japan on February 27, 2026, the movie will present an entirely original story, with Fuse overseeing the project and providing the initial draft. Additionally, the theme song has been confirmed as “Utopia” by TRUE.

Crunchyroll has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea, except in most Asian countries. Fans outside Asia will soon be able to watch the movie in theaters.
Based on the light novels by Fuse, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Crunchyroll offers streaming for every preceding season of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime,” along with the Scarlet Bond movie and the newly released Visions of Coleus OVA, available in both subtitled and dubbed versions.
