We Are Aliens tells the story of Tsubasa and Gyotaro, two boys who meet during the summer of their third year of elementary school. Initially inseparable, their friendship is unexpectedly broken by a minor incident. Nearly 30 years later, they cross paths again and embark on a journey that gently explores what it means to live and to find purpose.
