A scene cut from new theatrical version GINTAMA -Yoshiwara in Flames-, based on Hideaki Sorachi’s hit manga, has been revealed. The iconic “Yoshiwara in Flames” arc will return as a completely new adaptation for the big screen. The film is set to premiere in Japan on February 13, 2026, just 100 days from now.

Also, the details of the movie ticket. The first movie ticket uses a teaser visual for the movie drawn by Sorachi. It will be sold exclusively in theaters from November 14th. The movie ticket is also scheduled to release the second installment.
It was also announced that the screening period of “Gintama THE FINAL 4DX”, which will be released from November 14th in Japan, will be limited to three weeks. Gifts will be distributed for visitors for three consecutive weeks.

The upcoming film project will revisit the manga’s “Yoshiwara in Flames” arc, which was previously adapted into eight episodes of the TV anime back in 2009.
The anime series concluded in 2018 after four seasons. In addition to the main series, several films were released, including Gintama: The Final in 2021, as well as a wave of Gintama on Theater 2D features cinematic re-edits of story arcs previously adapted for television.
