The original work by Gege Akutami, “JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins-” will hit MX4D and 4DX theaters starting November 22.
In these special screenings, motion seats and dynamic effects will synchronize with on-screen action immersing viewers in the intensity of each battle. Audiences will be able to feel the impact of cursed energy clashes and the thrilling sense of speed that defines the series’ combat sequences.
Following the character video featuring Satoru Gojo, new special videos spotlighting Yuta Okkotsu and Choso have also been released.
The film combines a special edited version of the “Shibuya Incident” arc from Season 2 with Episodes 1 and 2 of “Culling Game Part 1”, the upcoming third season set to premiere in January 2026. Screenings will begin nationwide on November 7, with MX4D and 4DX formats launching later in the month.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures has announced its acquisition of distribution rights for JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- in select territories including UK and Ireland, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific for the upcoming film.

The new season begins broadcasting January 2026. In “The Culling Game,” Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” enters the fray as an executioner, turning his blade toward Itadori. “The Cursed Two,” bound by a shared mentor, ignite one of the most iconic and ferocious battles from the original manga, soon to be brought vividly to life on screen. This marks the first encounter between the two protagonists, leading to an epic clash of cursed energies.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 & 2 of the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime alongside the anime film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Crunchyroll describes the first arc of the season 2, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as such:
The past comes to light when second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen.
