Japanese rock trio Hitsujibungaku will release their highly anticipated fifth album, “Don’t Laugh It Off”, on Wednesday, October 8. This marks their first full-length release in nearly two years, following 2023’s “12 hugs (like butterflies)”.

The new album will feature 13 tracks, including previously released singles “Haru no Arashi”, “Feel” (the opening theme for Secrets of the Silent Witch), “Koe”, “Burning” (the ending theme for OSHI NO KO Season 2), “tears”, “doll”, and “Map of the Future 2025”, along with several brand-new songs.

Following the completion of their biggest-ever Asian tour, “Hitsujibungaku Asia Tour 2025 ‘いま、ここ (Right now, right here.)“, which included two headlining shows at the Nippon Budokan and a stop at Osaka-jō Hall in September, the band has announced their first-ever European tour.
The “Hitsujibungaku Europe Tour 2025” will kick off in Paris and visit seven cities across six countries, marking an ambitious new chapter in the group’s international journey.

More about Hitsujibungaku:
Hitsujibungaku are Moeka Shiotsuka (vo, g), Yurika Kasai (b), and Hiroa Fukuda (d), an alternative rock band with a power-infused sound and hints of a unique fragility. Their big break came in September 2023 when “more than words ”was released as the ending theme for TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident.” The song garnered over 100M streams worldwide this hit track is also part of their 3rd studio album on the major label, “12 hugs (like butterflies) ”released December 6, 2023. As for live activities, in March 2024, the band’s first Asia tour titled “Hitsujibungaku ASIA TOUR 2024 ” was met with completely sold-out.
