The TV anime You Can’t Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! by Shinya Misu has unveiled its fifth teaser visual. The character Runa will be voiced by Sae Hiratsuka.
The series is slated to premiere in 2026 and will be produced by Tezuka Productions.

Runa is one of the four heroines. She embodies an angelic yet devilish “sister-like” charm, captivating the protagonist, Eeyuu, more than anyone else.
Shinya Misu‘s original manga You can’t be in a rom-com with your childhood friends! has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since March 2022, with 14 tankōbon volumes released to date.
You can’t be in a rom-com with your childhood friends! is a love triangle rom-com centered around Eeyuu, a high school boy, and his childhood friends, Shio and Akari, who attend the same school. While Eeyuu worries about their relationships, Shio and Akari show no signs of romantic interest, leading him to desperately conceal his own feelings.
