Yoshikazu Iwanami, the sound director for the TV anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure STEEL BALL RUN, shared an update on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the project’s progress.
He revealed that sound work for Episode 1 has been completed, describing it as “awesome”. The soundtrack’s concept is “Dance with Steel Ball Run”, promising a highly danceable score.“I want an Emmy Award for Best Sound. What should I do? lol,” he joked.
New information about STEEL BALL RUN anime will be revealed during a global live stream on September 23.

Part 6, Stone Ocean, follows Jolyne Cujoh as she finds herself imprisoned for a crime she didn’t commit—set ten years after the events of Golden Wind. Stone Ocean is currently available to stream on Netflix.
