Catalyst Game Labs and Crunchyroll are bringing the world of My Hero Academia to the tabletop with My Hero Academia: Miniatures Game, a skirmish-style competitive game built around fast, cinematic matches.
Visual:

Designed for two or more players and clocking in at about 40 minutes, sessions play out over six rounds. Each player can control 3 characters (student or vilain), in order to complete missions, impress watching Pro Heroes, and react to surprise villain appearances.
The game emphasizes tactical movement and terrain: cover, line-of-sight, and even throwing buildings can shift the flow of combat.
Visual:

Characters use Quirk-inspired abilities resolved through custom dice pools. Moreover, mechanics such as Plus Ultra! tokens that permit rerolls, Hero/Villain tokens that upgrade dice, and character-specific tokens add strategic depth. Damage doesn’t just remove health, it also affects how players build attack and defense dice pools, making each hit meaningfully change the match state.
Components come ready-to-play: miniatures are pre-assembled and pre-painted, and every character includes a card summarizing stats and abilities. While the game ships with custom color-coded dice, rules let players use their own dice if they prefer.

Catalyst plans a Kickstarter to launch the line, with a core Duelling Box starter and additional packs teased as stretch goals.
Initial previews show a strong opening roster (Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, Minoru Mineta, Eijiro Kirishima, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Fumikage Tokoyami), with promise of unlockable favorites such as All Might, plus extra terrain and special dice. Early backers can expect tiered offerings aimed at new players and collectors alike.
More details, stretch-goal reveals, and the BackerKit/Kickstarter launch information are available on the project’s landing page.
