HIDIVE has announced that the new fantasy series Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! will be available exclusively for streaming in the upcoming fall season.
Prior to its official fall release, HIDIVE will host the world premiere of Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! Episode 1 at Anime NYC 2025, scheduled for August 21–24 in New York City.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! is based on the original novels and manga series by Shichio Kuzu. Published by Earth Star Entertainment, the light novel series consists of four volumes, illustrated by Yumehito Ueda, and launched in July 2018.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Akio Nanae, has been serialized in Earth Star Comics since November 2018 and currently spans nine volumes. The English edition of the manga is available through One Peace Books.

In this world a goddess bestows each person with a class and skills that will determine one’s life direction. Despite being born the son of a Sword Princess and an Archmage, Arel has not received a class or skills. So, Arel must rely on his own grit, determination and natural talents to pursue and achieve greatness—becoming a new kind of hero. A hero without a class!
