The official title for the fourth installment in the Sumikko Gurashi movie series has been announced: Eiga Sumikko Gurashi: Sora no Okoku to Futari no Ko (Sumikko Gurashi The Movie: The Sky Kingdom and Two Children). Alongside the title reveal, a teaser visual and a special preview video have also been released. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 31, 2025.

The Movie Sumikko Gurashi series is based on the beloved Sumikko Gurashi characters created by San-X. The first film in the franchise, Sumikko Gurashi: The Pop-up Book and the Secret Child, premiered in 2019. Since then, the series has attracted over 3 million viewers in total.
