The second promotional video for the upcoming TV anime White Mage Banished from the Hero’s Party and Taken in by an S-Rank Adventurer has been released. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 10 on Crunchyroll.
Additionally, the ending theme song, “Hikari Sasu Tobira” by ChouCho, has been revealed with a preview of the track.

Based on the light novels by Sora Suigetsu and DeeCHA, with contributions from Hiroshi Yamada, the series first debuted on the Japanese self-publishing platform Shousetsuka ni Narou in March 2020. Its print edition, released under the M Novels imprint, has been in publication since November 2020, with seven volumes available to date.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Wasabi Mukuno, has been serialized under the Monster Comics imprint since May 2021.
The novel is a fantasy story about Lloyd, a white mage who is unexpectedly expelled from the hero’s party. By chance, he encounters a group of S-rank adventurers in search of a white mage. As he joins them on their journey, Lloyd gradually uncovers the truth about his abilities: he is not a typical support magic user. While embarking on his new path as an adventurer, he unknowingly begins to excel as a warrior.
