Kadokawa has announced that NUKITASHI THE ANIMATION, based on Qruppo’s adult visual novel will premiere on July 18 in Japan. The anime will be released in three different versions, each tailored for varying levels of content regulation:
- “Seiran Island” Version: The most explicit cut, featuring minimal censorship. This version will air on AT-X and will also be included in the Blu-ray Disc box.
- Streaming-Only Version: A moderately censored version with some restrictions, available on various streaming platforms.
- Fully Regulated Version: The most censored version, suitable for broadcast on public channels including BS11, Gifu Broadcasting, KBS Kyoto, and Mie TV.

A manga adaptation by Mameojitan began serialization in 2020 and has six volumes as of April 18. The game was first released in 2018 and has since been released in other languages by Shiravune.
