WITCH WATCH Introduces Chaotic New Student Council in Episode 10

Episode 10 adds chaos, charm, and clichés!

The magical rom-com anime WITCH WATCH is kicking things up a notch by introducing one of anime’s most beloved tropes: a student council full of eccentric personalities. In episode 10, titled “Trope-tacular Student Council / A Stray Cat’s Bubble of Bliss”, nine new characters make their debut, each one dripping with over-the-top quirks and voiced by a cast of top-tier talent.

Leading the pack is Tenryu Kiyomiya, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (known for Teruki Hanazawa in Mob Psycho 100), followed by Ibara Ibu, played by Miyuki Sawashiro (Fujiko Mine in Lupin the 3rd), and Yuzuru Kenmochi, brought to life by Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch in Code Geass). Each of these characters slots neatly into a familiar archetype, making them a perfect comedic fit for WITCH WATCH’s supernatural high school setting.

The lineup continues with Syrup, voiced by legendary Rie Kugimiya (Hayate the Combat Butler!), the mysterious Kuromitsu, played by Misaki Kuno (The Apothecary Diaries), and Riro Takumi, portrayed by industry veteran Noriko Hidaka (Ranma 1/2). These characters enrich the school’s mystique with their layered personalities and sharp comedic timing.

Rounding out the cast are Burst, voiced by Kenta Miyake (All Might in My Hero Academia), the unpredictable Kyoki Saiko, played by Jun Fukushima (Kazuma in KONOSUBA), and the enigmatic Daiki Sakai Mk.II, brought to life by Hikaru Midorikawa (Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!). Their exaggerated traits and unique designs bring a new burst of energy to the show.

Currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of the Spring 2025 anime season, WITCH WATCH follows Morihito Otogi, a high school ogre tasked with protecting his childhood friend and budding witch Nico Wakatsuki, who’s recently moved in and made him her familiar. With the student council’s arrival, the duo’s magical misadventures are only getting more unpredictable.
