Love Live! Hasunosora Jyogakuin School Idol Club from the Love Live! franchise is getting its own 3DCG animated feature film! The announcement was made today on the project’s official social media accounts, accompanied by a teaser trailer.

Love Live! Hasunosora Jyogakuin School Idol Club is a multimedia project encompassing the Link! Like! Love Live! mobile app, manga adaptations, and features character designs by Haruko Iizuka.
Crunchyroll currently offers streaming for the original Love Live! School Idol Project series, along with its successors Love Live! Sunshine!!, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Love Live! Superstar!!. The platform describes the original series as follows:
Otonokizaka High School is planning to close within three years. However, nine female students come together with one thing in mind—form a pop idol group to revive the school’s popularity and keep it from shutting down. ‘In order to protect our beloved school, there’s only one thing we can do…become pop stars!’
