Netherworld Covenant, a dark 3D action roguelike developed by indie duo MadGoat Game Studio and published by Infini Fun, is set to launch globally in Early Access on June 19, 2025 via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Supporting 12 major languages, the game invites players into a bleak fantasy world of corrupted heroes, spectral powers, and relentless combat systems.

Players step into the role of a lone warrior armed with the sacred Nether Lantern, a relic capable of forging soul-bound covenants with fallen comrades. Their journey takes them through the cursed Langureg Lands, where twisted former champions and demonic lords await. Using precise tactical combat and build customization, players must survive a world where every choice can mean victory or annihilation.

The Early Access version includes four full chapters, each with distinct biomes, enemies, and bosses, offering hours of progression and replay value. Combat depth comes from combining main and lantern-based weapons, ghost skills, and dozens of passive auras and relics. Popular playstyles like “Time Stop”, “Frostbite”, and “Berserker” allow players to experiment with dynamic approaches to each encounter. For those seeking a smoother curve, collecting Black Stones provides permanent stat upgrades to ease the game’s challenge.
Following launch, Netherworld Covenant will continue to evolve with consistent updates. The developers plan to expand the story, add new build archetypes, weapons, and worldbuilding layers, while also hosting community events such as speedrun competitions.
