The classic anime KochiKame: Tokyo Beat Cops is now officially available in English for the first time, marking its North American premiere on the It’s Anime Powered by REMOW YouTube channel. This release allows international viewers to finally access the long-running adaptation of Osamu Akimoto’s iconic manga, which originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1976 to 2016.
The anime centers on Ryotsu Kankichi, an eccentric and money-obsessed police officer, and his outrageous daily antics at a Tokyo police station, joined by colorful characters like Nakagawa, Reiko, and their boss Chief Ohara.

The franchise recently returned to Jump for a short crossover with Super Psychic Policeman Chojo.
