David Production’s first original TV anime, “ONMYO-KAITEN Re:Birth Verse,” premiered on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block on July 2. Alongside the premiere, the studio unveiled a second promotional video and announced additional cast members.

ONMYO-KAITEN Re:Birth Verse is an isekai battle action story set in Denji Heian-kyo, an alternate world. Takeru, a rebellious high school student, is suddenly transported to this strange realm due to a freak accident. Just as he encounters Tsukimiya—a mysterious girl who has appeared in his dreams—he is attacked and killed by a monstrous Oni. However, in the next moment, he finds himself waking up once again in Heian-kyo. Realizing that he has leaped through time, Takeru resolves to learn the art of onmyojutsu under the legendary Seimei Abeno and fight as an onmyoji to defy fate and prevent the future where Tsukimiya loses her life.
