TOMONARI SORA, known in Japan as the “Reiwa Era pop killer”, has released a new song titled ‘CAUTION’ on April 9, 2025. The track will serve as the opening theme for the rebroadcast of the hit anime series ‘Assassination Classroom’, set to begin airing on Fuji TV from April 11.

SORA handled every creative aspect of the song—writing the lyrics and music, arranging, mixing, and even designing the cover art. Musically, ‘CAUTION’ is driven by aggressive speed and energy, reflecting the transitional stage between childhood and adulthood. Inspired by the yellow caution light on a traffic signal, the lyrics explore both the frustration and fleeting beauty of daily life.
As with many of his songs, SORA’s new track is filled with wordplay, poetic metaphors, and a signature rhythmic intensity. A music video, released on the same day, was directed by Tsumugi, who also created visuals for his past songs ‘ACTOR’ and ‘Bergamot’.
In his comment, SORA shared a personal connection to the series: “‘Assassination Classroom’ was my favorite Jump manga in elementary and middle school. As a graduate of Class 3-E and a huge fan of Koro sensei, I’m thrilled to contribute to a series I’ve always loved.”
