A new OVA for THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! is currently in development. While details about the project remain scarce, the production team has been officially revealed.

Special PV:

The OVA will be directed by Shinya Watada, while the script will be penned by Yoichi Kato. Animation production will be handled by SHIROGUMI.

The TV broadcast debut of The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors Season 1 is set for April 5, 2024, in Japan. Prior to its television airing, the show was showcased through theatrical pre-screenings in Japan, divided into three parts: October 27, 2023, November 24, 2023, and January 5, 2024.

The anime adaptation of The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors draws inspiration from its namesake game, initially released as a browser game on the enza website in April 2018. It later expanded its reach by launching as a mobile game for iOS and Android devices in March 2019. In the game, players assume the role of a budding producer at 283 Production, entrusted with the task of nurturing and managing a diverse array of idols.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Mirai Kasuga’s dream is still elusive, Shizuka Mogami’s idol devotion knows no bounds, and Tsubasa Ibuki? Well, let’s just say she’s never met a serious moment. When these three quirky souls cross paths with the mesmerizing world of idols, prepare for a heart-pounding spectacle. Join our 39 idols as they come together to paint the theaters with the dazzling hues of 1 million dreams!
