The video of the first stage of HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Interactive Movie, showcasing the opening match of the “Final Division Rap Battle,” has been released.
As Japan’s first interactive film featuring audience participation, HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- is set to premiere on February 21. The newly released footage highlights three intense battles: Ikebukuro Division’s Buster Bros!!! vs. Bad Ass Temple in Last Man Standing, MAD TRIGGER CREW vs. Dotsuitare Hompo in Out of Harmony, and Fling Posse vs. Matenrou in I Stick to My Mic.

The first season of the anime, directed by Katsumi Ono and produced by A-1 Pictures, premiered in October 2020 and was simulcast on Funimation. Crunchyroll streams both this series and its 2023 sequel, providing the following story description:
Legendary rap group The Dirty Dawg could have taken Japan by storm, but then they broke up. Now each member fights in one of the four rival groups. Battles for turf are fought with rap and the Hypnosis Mic, a microphone that can affect the human spirit.
