Peleliu: Guernica of Paradise was serialized in Hakusensha‘s Young Animal from 2016 to 2021 and received the Excellence Award from the Japan Cartoonists Association in 2017. A spinoff series, Peleliu Gaiden, is currently ongoing in Young Animal.

The setting is Peleliu Island, a brutal battleground of the Pacific War where 10,000 Japanese soldiers were deployed, yet only 34 survived. This poignant story delves into the thoughts and experiences of young individuals facing the horrors of war, as portrayed through a relatable, three-headed character.
