Netflix Unveils New Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 Trailer Ahead of Premiere!

Netflix has released a new trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2, set to premiere on January 16. The series continues to delve deeper into the Castlevania universe. This latest chapter will feature 8 episodes, each approximately 25 minutes long.

The sequel was announced a week after the first season’s 8 episodes premiered on Netflix on September 28. The Castlevania anime series is part of Konami’s now iconic Castlevania galaxy of video games, which includes toys, manga, graphic novels and more.

The series premiered on the streaming platform on September 28. All eight episodes of Castlevania: Nocturne are currently Netflix! Here’s the synopsis:

France, 1792 – the height of the French Revolution. In a remote part of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to ‘eat the sun’ and unleash an army of vampires and nightcreatures to crush the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, seeks out Richter Belmont, last descendant of the long-fabled family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance.
