Despite being born into a noble family famous for its supernatural abilities, having lost her birth mother at a young age, Miyo grows up forced into a life of servitude by her abusive stepmother.

When she receives news that she is to be married off, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a military commander with a cruel and ruthless reputation.
