The theme song for the CG anime movie Pui Pui Molcar the Movie: MOLMAX is composed by HARAMIchan, with arrangement by Shinichi Osawa. Vocals will be performed by Tsumugi and Ito alongside the Molcars, featuring guinea pigs Tsumugi & Ito as part of the ensemble. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Japan on November 29.

The first season of Pui Pui Molcar aired in 2021, followed by the second season, Pui Pui Molcar Driving School, in 2022. A compilation film of the first season was released in July 2021. The series has inspired various merchandise, a Nintendo Switch video game, and numerous cross-franchise collaborations.
