According to NHK, Nobuyo Oyama, the renowned actor and voice actor best known for bringing Doraemon, the beloved robot cat, to life for 26 years, has passed away at the age of 90. She reportedly died last month from age-related causes.

Before assuming this iconic role, she played the main characters in the anime Norakuro, Kunimatsu-sama no Otooridai, and Hazedon, as well as Kappei Jin in Muteki Choujin Zambot 3.
