The 44th film in the Doraemon anime franchise, titled “Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari,” is set to premiere on March 7, 2025. This film marks the 45th anniversary of the franchise. Alongside this announcement, a special video showcasing three original characters—Claire, Mairo, and Chai—has been released.

Yukiyo Teramoto, known for directing the Doraemon TV anime series and director of the film franchise with Doraemon: Nobita’s New Great Adventure into the Underworld in 2007, takes on the role of director. The screenplay is penned by Satoshi Ito, a seasoned writer for many of the Doraemon films.
The story unfolds in a breathtaking medieval European world, beautifully illustrated through the artwork. Doraemon and his friends embark on an exciting journey into this ‘painted world,’ where they experience a unique, original adventure!
