Director Yasuomi Umezu, known for works like Kite and Mezzo Forte, has joined forces with anime studio Shaft to create the original anime series VIRGIN PUNK. The first installment, titled “Clockwork Girl”, is set to hit Japanese theaters in early summer 2025. This announcement was made today, September 16, at the Aniplex Online Fest 2024.
