Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Officially Announced!

The new season has been announced at The MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2024 event!

The production of the fourth season of the anime “Classroom of the Elite” has been officially announced, and a teaser visual has been released. The new season will adapt the Year 2 sequel light novels.

The first season debuted in 2017, followed by Season 2, which was released several years later in July 2022. Season 3, originally set to premiere in 2023, was delayed and eventually began airing in January 2024.

Classroom of the Elite is adapted from the light novels published under the MF Bunko J label. These novels are authored by Syogo Kinugasa, with illustrations provided by Tomoseshunsaku.

Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it’s said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school’s problem children.

What’s more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.

One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…
